Just felt
the FIRST two REAL kicks from the baby..... I have been feeling 'flutters' for a while but tonight was the first time that I had those 'mom lay off the orange juice up there" kicks.... this always makes things seem so much more 'real' for us.

Delainey doesn't seem to understand why the bike that Uncle Michael and Auntie Kristie bought her TWO YEARS AGO doesn't seem to work for her anymore ha-ha!!
"what you mean I can't wait this outfit.... it is a nice velvet material and ONLY 103 degrees outside... it comes with a hat!!!..." Gotta love the 'reasoning' of a 3 1/2 year old... **yes this is the same outfit that Vickie bought Delainey for her 1st Christmas and Delainey wore for her 2 year pictures... it still kind of fits...except the sleeves are now a 3/4 sleeve instead of full**

a "different" bumper sticker
Today I was driving and I noticed a bumper sticker on the vehicle (which happend to be one of those super HUMVE things) and I LOVE bumper stickers so I had to get close enough to the car to read it and it read:
"MY child fights the war in Iraq SO YOUR CHILD can party @ college"
Now I could be wrong and just stupid (both completely a possiblity) but I guess I don't understand what 'good' or what 'message' this sticker is sending. I mean we live in a country in which we have volunteer services and people join up under their own free will, so it isn't like the country (or its people) decided that this person's son/daughter HAD to join which every section of the US military they did....they made the choice themselves.
I just want to also state that I completely support our troops and I pray for them every day and also that our president will get his head out his rear and let all our troops come home. I am very thankful for what these troops are doing in Iraq and also where ever they have been called to duty. They are all heros in my eyes and we pray for them daily, so my questioning of this bumper sticker was not a 'slam' to our soldiers or anything just wondering if anyone else 'gets' the message that I am apparently missing.

Kid updates
Just wanted to post a few updates on the kids :)
Delainey: She is certainly a goer... this kid likes to be on the move and aside from a few hours a day in which she needs to 'rest' she goes constantly. We are currently battling the fact that some of her friends get to go outside and play without their moms, but she isn't. She doesn't seem to understand that the friends who do get to go outside without their mom/dad have older siblings and don't live on one of the more busy streets in town. She has adjusted pretty well to 'losing' her room and gaining a playroom...she only 'fights' bedtime for 20 minutes now rather than the hour long battles before that often ended with her in our bed. She is looking forward to a visit to the Twin Cities in a few weeks and is LITERALLY counting the days until she gets to see Grandma Connie, Papa Mike, her cousins, uncles, aunties etc. When Brian and Tracy were here in April Delainey reconnected with her uncle Brian and ever since he has been a "big" subject around here....So whatever you did B Keep it up ... lol..
Shelby: She is slowly learning that to get attention in this house you have to scream... LOL, our go with the flow girl is learning what she wants when it comes to her two sisters and is FINALLY not afraid to go after it---well if she REALLY wants it that is. She is still our 'mellow yellow' and we often comment that she is going to be our 'stoner' because she is already so "whatever... " and can often be heard all of a sudden going "huhu hu..."... you have to hear the laugh to understand fully.She is RUNNING everywhere...once this kid picks something up there is no stopping her...and her forehead will tell the stories of her 'battles'...maybe tile wasn't such a good idea lol. She isn't adjusting as well to everyone in one room.... before she would just ignore Avery and go to sleep, but now that we are still fighting with Delainey for 1/2 hour or so, everytime we walk into the room, she will pop her little head up and look at you like "please can I just have my own room...." poor kid.
Avery: ATTITUDE...enough said. When you call Avery into the room you will get "I tumming' in a VERY stern voice like we are bothering her. She is still completely a mama's girl and super sensitive... Her vocabulary is just taking off!!! She is constantly talking and being able to be understood. She reminds me alot of Delainey when she was that age. She is still the 'in charge' one of the 'twins' and she and Delainey go round and round over who is the boss. She is currently just loving the heck out of the zebra that the girls got for their birthday. She is so proud of herself for being able to get off and on all by herself. She is using a spoon and fork at every meal.
Baby #4: well we have our big ultrasound on Aug,6 so we are patiently waiting for that. We also have names for the baby and will announce it once we know what the gender is (yes we do have a 75% sure idea, but that ultrasound was at 14 weeks so we want to wait to make sure). We had a good little giggle that if the baby is a boy, he will 'almost' have the same initials as one of his uncles, but we don't think that uncle will mind.... will you??? So far all is going well with the newest Krumwiede kidlet.

Special Day...
Today we were invited to the 'refinalization' of or friends' newest children's adoptions. It was a wonderful time to be able to share with them and we felt blessed to be included.

Rented a doppler...
In the past with our pregnancies I have always been sick with hyperemesis (http://www.hyperemesis.org/ ) so I always knew that my pregnancy was doing what is was supposed to. But this time around (I almost hate to complain) I have been feeling really good, aside from being a little bit more tired, and my sinuses acting up I have been great. Almost too great in that I have been having anxiety/panic attacks. Under the suggestion of my OB we have decided to rent a fetal doppler in which we will be able to listen for the baby's heart tones at home. Part of me can't help but think this is going to freak me out even more as we have only heard that baby's heartbeat once via the doc's own doppler. My doctor did say that in the event that I can not find the tones on my own to come up to Labor and Delivery and they will find the heartbeat and if no tones are detected we can do a quick heartbeat check via ultrasound. Avery was 'double' fisting the berries at this point .Introducing the girls to their first berries is always a 'scary' thing for us because Chad is allergic to strawberries and there for the girls' 'shouldn't' have berries of any sort until past the age of two.... but they wanted to try them and since they have had 'fake' strawberries in the past (and Chad's allergy isn't that severe) we thought what the heck.
As you can see they both enjoyed them and we have not had any signs of rash/reaction so they should be able to enjoy raspberries for the rest of the season.

Apparently
some parents have failed in the common sense of teaching your children manners and respect. It seems that lately we have been getting rude and almost offensive 'comments' on the blog so you will notice now that all comments have to be approved by me in order to be posted on the blog. Sorry for the inconvience this will be causing some people, but I am rather tired of the comments and sadly this has been enforced because of ONE rude and mean person.
The part of this that I do not fully understand is that this 'person' seems to be only attacking my blog and comments only on mine, so sadly this must mean that some how this person knows who I am (for real) and still sadly has nothing better to do with his/her time then to make comments about "Like some people like to hear themselves talk, you must like to read what you type" and so forth... so frankly... if you don't want to read what I type... leave me alone and find someone else to bother.

I'm addicted....
to Army Wives that is.... it is a new shoe on Lifetime and it is like I actually live my life around it on Sunday nights. It works out really well... if I am motivated-- which of course I make myself be-- I can get the kids bathed, dressed and in bed by 8:25pm, which of course allows for the 30 minutes of potty/drink "things" that Delainey has to do and still lets me plop my big ole' butt on my couch with a beverage and snack right as my t.v. reminder is telling me that Army Wives starts in 5 minutes on Channel 32 :)

What is the point...
exactly of a mom's night 'off' if the next day she has double to work because the night before when she was off no one picked up, did the dishes or for that matter actually put pj's on the children before bed time?
Yesterday am I woke to the screams of my 'middle' child, as I raced to the girls' room I found Shelby standing in her crib clad only in a diaper soaking wet... poor thing. Not only had she gotten cold from the a/c but she was wet because her diaper was soaked as was her blanket, bedding etc. Poor baby...
Well after a good am of of 'make up' chores I was on track and able to even get ahead of the days things, and by bed time last night I actually had some time to do absolutely nothing... it was wonderful... right up until I was up all night coughing my head of from my allergy/cold thingie that I have got going on and since I am pregnant I can't take anything for it...

dang it!!! UPDATED!!!!
*THE PRECIOUS BOX OF BREAST PUMP PARTS HAS BEEN FOUND!!!! Apparently when you share the replacement costs of things it makes those who are in 'charge' of the earning of the $$ work a bit harder to find it LOL....
Remember a few months ago when we ripped out the closet that USED to be in our entry way? Well that closet held a crap load of stuff and today it dawned on me that the parts to my breastpump were in the closet in a box. So of course I started freaking out and went on a search... I can not find the box anywhere. If it were just the 'basic' kit that comes with the breast pump (4 bottles, two shields, 4 covers,a set of tubing) I wouldn't be so worked up, but I had over 15 storage bottles, 6 shields, and 3 total sets of tubing. I just looked online and new I am looking at over $100 to replace what I lost if we don't find it.
Thankfully, I was able to find a "starter" kit that has 2 shields, 4 bottles,and covers at http://www.babiesrus.com/ for a fairly reasonable price in the event that I don't find it, and a friend has offered (well technically I asked) her kit to use until I can get my own or find the dang box.
You are probably wondering why I am even worrying about this as I am only 15 weeks pregnant but I had to have SOMETHING to worry about today ha-ha.
It always dawned on me today as another pregnant friend was talking about how she has 6 "WHOLE" weeks to go today and it hit me... I only HOPE I get to complain about that ... lol. As it sits we only have about 16 1/2 weeks to 'goal' delivery which is 32 weeks.... obviously the 'real' goal is a full term come on his/her own baby, but as my doc said on Monday "You haven't seen a due date yet, so it is really unlikely"... to which of course Chad said... "are we here for a pregnancy that happend and stayed all on its own??" and the doc looked at Chad and just chuckled and said "good point Chad... this kid is persistant"... :) Here's hoping our goal orientated kidlet understands 12/29/07... plus then we get out of having to by Brian and Tracy anniversary gifts for the rest of our lives .... HA!!!

15 week appointment
I had my 15 weeks appointment today. It went rather quickly and I FINALLY got to hear the baby's heartbeat... it was 156. My blood pressure is already starting to creep up (it was 132/72), and my weight stayed the same so they aren't going to worry too much about the bp yet.
I had the blood work for my quad screening and also got to make my appointment for our "BIG" ultrasound on August 6th. We are getting really excited to find out the gender of the baby (although we already have a pretty good idea--- well 75% sure anyways BUT you will have to wait along with everyone else).
All in all it went well. Hopefully at some point this week I will post some new pictures of the kids :)

18 month check up
Shelby and Avery had their 18 month well check at the neonatologist today and we are happy (and sad) to say that we will no longer having to have general visits with the Neonatology clinics any longer. Most children who are in the NICU at St. Alexius Medical Center only have to come for a few months until they get on the growth charts for their actual age and not gestational. Our girls were well on their way until they hit about 5 months old and then there was pretty much a stand still for weight gain and height growth. If you recall the girls were only 15 lbs at one year.
But today we reached a milestone that we thought would never come. WE ARE ON THE GROWTH CHARTS FOR THEIR AGE!!!!! Shelby is 20 lbs 11 ozs (8th%) and 29 1/4 inches (3rd%) and Avery is 20 lbs 15ozs (10th%) and 29 1/2 inches (5th%). We are thrilled. In fact I actually cried when Dr. Brown said that we no longer had to schedule visits.
Chad and I of course ended the visit with "we hope to not see you in November or December"... Dr. Brown (who is a very quick woman) caught on right away and gave us the congratulations and the whole "speech" about premature births can not always be explained and some times they just happen (which is not the case for us, as all three of the girls have been born early due to maternal issues). She also said that she hopes not to see us, unless of course it is because this lil one needs a c-section (c-section babies tend to have a lil NICU time just to make certain all the fluid is out of their lungs).

Happy 4th of July
Just wanted to wish everyone a happy July 4th. Please remember our soldiers, their families and of course our fallen heros. Because without them... we wouldn't be allowed to be us.
Oh and by the way... the fireworks this year TOTALLY SUCKED... they were going off before it was even dark :(
