So... as you can see we have a new layout/design for the blog. I want to send a uber special shout out of thanks to Scrappin'Blogs for this amazing back ground. Doesn't it rock?!?!?! They have tons of amazing blog layouts over at their blog www.scrappinblogs.blogspot.com
I had been looking for a March of Dimes back ground for some time so when I click on my 'friend's' blog the other day and saw her background I just had to steal it...
As for the 'challenge/give-a-way' my amazing friend and fellow Twin Mama Pam is doing us an amazing favor over at her blog with a donation challenge which includes a give-a-way all in support of our March for Babies Team. Isn't that awesome :) We have such amazing friends... we are so blessed to have such wonderful friends..
So don't forget to go over to Pam's Blog and leave a comment and also making a donation for a chance to win the CD she is giving away :) You KNOW you wanna help us save babies :)
"Motherhood brings as much joy as ever, but it still brings boredom, exhaustion, and sorrow too. Nothing else ever will make you as happy or as sad, as proud or as tired, for nothing is quite as hard as helping a person develop his own individuality especially while you struggle to keep your own." -- Marguerite Kelly and Elia Parsons

LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!!
Last night were the two official "kick off" events for our March for Babies 2010 event in Bismarck. I am really excited about it. We were able to get together as teams and discuss some amazing fundraising ideas etc. We got some cool ideas and were able to share our ideas with other family teams as well. The goal for the Bismarck walk is $70,000 and after last year I really think that is a doable amount to raise.... our family team goal is $5,000... it's a stretch especially since Brian and Tracy will not be able to attend the walk with us this year, but we know that they are with us in spirit.
If you are interested in joining our family team you can do so by visiting www.marchforbabies.org/krumwiedekids and if you are interested in donating you can do it at that site as well. And as always thank you for your support of such an amazing cause!!! It is because of amazing donors like you all that our children are here... THANK YOU!!!!
Team Krumwiede Kids:
Chad, Kristin, Delainey, Shelby, Avery, Brody and all the Minnesota Krumwiedes who are on our team in spirit this year.

Final stages

We are in the final days of our March for Babies Event....there are only 11 more days to donate to our family team Team Krumwiede Kids and we couldn't be more excited about it. We have so many awesome things going on right now trying to raise funds. As you can see from my side bar I have already met my PERSONAL goal for fundraising, but I haven't met the Team Goal that we have had in place for three years now. So here is one of my final plugs * you KNOW I am going to keep asking you until Bank day, so don't even bother trying to ignore it* to help us raise funds for Helping Babies Be Born Term...
So please... help Team Krumwiede Kids meet their Team Goal of $2000, by making a donation :) THANK YOU!!! Remember every penny can help save a preemie

Famous Yet again...
I am sure that by now you have "heard' me talk about our nieces and nephew who live in Minnesota. Well our twin niece and nephew (who were born on Delainey's birthday in 2005 11 weeks premature) have been followed by the Pioneer Press through out their journey in the NICU etc, well they have again been published in the Pioneer Press, this time talking about JUST HOW AWESOME THEY ARE (like we didn't already know right??? ) But if you'd like, you can see the story HERE . Please do... Today is also the day that The MN Krumwiedes are doing their MARCH FOR BABIES in the Twin Cities... Brian and Tracy normally come and do the walk with us in Bismarck, but this year they are doing the walk at part of the hospital team (don't mention this to Delainey because she still thinks they are coming...we aren't ready for that heart break yet because Kellen and Shea are our kids FAVORITE visitors--- even Brody say Kel and Shhhh)...
But if you feel motivated by the story of Kellen and Shea, and the other premature infants that are featured in the Pioneer Press story... PLEASE feel free to donate to our team www.marchforbabies.org/krumwiedekids all donations are tax deductable, you can donate via, cash, check, credit/debit, or paypal... 77% of funds raised go directly to research.... LETS HELP EVERY BABY BE BORN TERM!!!
Thank you-
Kristin and Family
