Where did my baby go...

Today was Delainey's first day of pre-school. It is amazing how fast the time goes from when they are born to when they go into that great big world without us. This year went a lot better (for me) than last year... I didn't cry this time. (see it really was pregnancy hormones). Delainey had a little bit rougher time then last year because her teachers from last year came into the room, and Delainey has been really bummed that she doesn't have them again. But the program that she is part of has changed. They used to have all the kids go every day all day (ages 3-5) but now they have the 3/4 year olds go for 1/2 days all week and the 4/5 year olds go from 815am-115pm. It really is to transition the children since Bismarck now has all day every day kindergarten. Here is some pictures to show you just how much our lil baby has grown...
WE LOVE YOU DELAINEY!!!

Small victories...

I thought rather than setting large (and often unattainable) goals for myself that I would just continue to set small (reachable) goals for myself.

The first goal for myself was to sell $1000 in Tastefully Simple Products and I accomplished that thanks to several people who have had parties with me... THANK YOU SO MUCH LADIES!!!

Also, Avery had a small victory yesterday... last night as we were getting ready for bed and I was about to put a fresh diaper on her she said "mommy, I try potty" so we ran to the bathroom were she promptly peed in the toliet!! I am so happy for her! WAY TO GO AVERS!!!! MOMMY IS SO PROUD OF YOU!!!

I have a job using my degree

well a non-paying one that is... LOL. In order to complete the second/third degrees that I have been working towards while attending Bismarck State College I have to complete an internship of at least 93 hours.

Today I went and interviewed (if you would call it that) with a local Retirement Community and I really think I am going to be a good fit. It is going to give me a lot of experience in the Human Services field... I will be working with the Life Enchancement Group within the community and also doing some office/clerical work as well.

I am really looking forward to this next step in my 'career' and I just know that it will give me some wonderful experience. I know that my goals for my human service degree weren't in with the eldgery population, but honestly, if our family is going to be staying in the area I need to be realistic and there just aren't a lot of adoption worker or NICU support staff careers here.

I go for a meeting next Friday before we leave town, and will start work after the Labor Day holiday! Wish me luck!

Installing a Husband....

*Hey, I gave Chad credit the other night when I bashed myself about NOT being the 1950s wife...and it isn't bashing if it is true... LOL*

INSTALLING A HUSBAND

Dear Tech Support , Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0 .

In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as · Romance 9.5 and · Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as · NBA 5.0, · NFL 3.0 and · GolfClubs 4.1

Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system.

Please note that I have tried running Nagging < /SPAN>5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail. What can I do?

Signed, Desperate

DEAR DESPERATE,
First, keep in mind, · Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while · Husband 1.0 is an operating system

Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme.html and try to download Tears 6.2 and don't forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. ·

If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.

However, remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to GrumpySilence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1. ·
Please note that Beer 6. 1 is a very bad program that will download the Farting and Snoring Loudly Beta.

Whatever you do, DO NOT under any circumstances install Mother-In-Law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources.)

In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0.

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly.
You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend · Cooking 3.0 and · HotLingerie 7.7

Good Luck Babe! Tech Support

USS New York

Here SHE is, the USS New York, made from the World Trade Center!

USS New York
It was built with 24 tons of scrap steel from the World Trade Center. It is the fifth in a new class of warship - designed for missions that include special operations against terrorists. It will carry a crew of 360 sailors and 700 combat-ready Marines to be delivered ashore by helicopters and assault craft.Steel from the World Trade Center was melted down in a foundry in Amite , LA to cast the ship's bow section. When it was poured into the molds on Sept 9, 2003, 'those big rough steelworkers treated it with total reverence,' recalled Navy Capt. Kevin Wensing, who was there. 'It was a spiritual moment for everybody there.'Junior Chavers, foundry operations manager, said that when the trade center steel first arrived, he touched it with his hand and the 'hair on my neck stood up.' 'It had a big meaning to it for all of us,' he said. 'They knocked us down. They can't keep us down. We're going to be back.'The ship's motto? 'Never Forget'Please keep this going so everyone can see what we are made of in this country!

Prayers please...

Hello everyone. A dear friend and her family could certainly use some prayers right now. One week after Emma's 3rd birthday she was diagnosed with leukemia. As you all know this is a disease very near and dear to my heart. Thankfully Emma has ALL (who ever thought you'd be thankful for something like that) and the doctors have nothing but good thoughts/comments about Emma's treament and her outlook. But that doesn't mean that here there aren't worries or fears for my dear friend Kim.
So if you could add my dear friend and her family to your prayers, it would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!!!

GONE are my baby girls....

Shelby and Avery are now in toddler beds... :( It was a rough night, but hopefully it will go more and more smoothly. One down side to buying toddler beds rather than 'regular' beds is there is no "mommy seep wf me"...so I spent most of the night on the floor between the two beds... not so comfortable... and who's idea was the HARDWOOD floors... LOL

*this picture was taken last night about 10pm, the girls are actually asleep, but my camera flash was insane so it lit up the whole room*

Family Resemblence

So many people (well relatives anyways) have commented on how much Avery looks like a certain relative of ours and today she emailed me a picture from her childhood. What do you think???

Nothing like

Nothing like a dislocated thumb to ruin your weekend... :(

Party #2 under my belt...

Last night my wonderful friend Megan hosted a TS party with me... it was so much fun! We were able to have a wonderful time and enjoy not only the wonderful product, but most importantly wonderful friendship, as three of my very good and dear friends were there and who can't HELP but have an awesome time when you are with awesome people...

THANK YOU Megan for hosting the party!!! PS, I so want that recipe... YUMMY ;)

Ever feel like...

Ever feel like you are not in control of your life or that someone else thinks that THEY should be the ones controlling it? I have felt that way several times over the past few weeks. I wish I could pin point why I have been feeling this way. I mean of I always felt a ‘little’ like people are always micro-managing me but it has been getting really bad lately. Hopefully I will be able to reach a sense of ‘calm’ with this and figure out what is the next step for me in that aspect…BUT to be completely honest, I really just want to stand up and scream “I AM AN ADULT AND I CAN CONTROL MY LIFE AND MY RESPONSIBILITIES!!!!”

Thanks for listening to my rant...

Brody is 8 Months old today!!!

I can hardly believe that our baby boy is already 8 months old. I mean seriously, time flies when you are having fun. I didn't have time today to create a photo collage for this past month, so here are a few pictures taken this past week. They show the 'two sides' of Brody... the 'regular' side and the "Sarah...I mean serious side" LOL.... His 'stats' for today at 18 1/4 lbs and 27 inches... yes that would mean that he has 'lost' weight, but he is still good :)

Regular Brody...

The "sarah" side of Brody... :) This is also the "Chad" look for those who have heard us talk about it in the past...
