Well today I actually got up the motivation to get my children ready and out the door so I could make it to the Y. I had originally planned on getting there early enough to join some friends in this cycling class that they have been talking about... but I didn't get there until 9am and it started at 845--it is probably a good thing I missed it because I would be dead instead of writing this blog post--... anyways back to my story.
Get the kids into child watcher *yea there was room for everyone* and head towards the door to leave... no one is crying everything is all good... I even snuck into the neighboring office to peek through the window to make certain...everyone was having fun...
So off to the Life Center I head... I've got my iPod w/ my Nike Plus *damn thing froze on my so I couldn't use it* got a treadmill by the window and started working out... I was even able to watch Rachel Ray...well as I am making my 7th lap ( I use that silly little screen that lets me pretend that I am on an outdoor track to 'see' my progress) over the load speaker I head "Kristin Krumwiede to child watch please"... just what EVERY mom wants to hear right.... so I jump off the treadmill-- forgot to pull my ear phones out of the treadmill and had them come whipping out my ears-- THAT HURTS btw-- and up the stairs I flew... didn't even take the time to grab my stuff out of my locker room... get upstairs to find Brody screaming his head off...
Long story short... I've been TOLD that Brody can not stay in child watch longer than 20 minutes next time... OUCH... like I am going to take the time (and energy) to drag my ass to the Y for a measly 20 minutes... PUH-LEASE!!!! Well I will because Brody needs to start getting used to other people... and they could have let him cry... OR they could have followed my instructions of letting him have a snack...OR they could have allowed for his sister *who is his personal security person* sit beside him.... all of these things would have calmed him down... better luck to us all next time right?
That being said at least I got to burn 232 calories right??? AND I didn't even emotional eat once I got home... instead I cleaned because I was so mad!!! LOL

Nothing else ever will make you as happy or as sad, as proud or as tired, for nothing is quite as hard as helping a person develop his own individuality especially while you struggle to keep your own." -- Marguerite Kelly and Elia Parsons

What a weekend...
This has been one crazy weekend at the Krumwiede household…. And I am glad to say that it is OVER! The oldest of my children (meaning the other adults) will go back to work tomorrow and while Delainey is on spring break and therefore will not go back to school until Tuesday, I am still looking forward to tomorrow.
Chad took Friday off so that he could participate in the State Dart Tournament which was being held in town… He and the rest of the Sports Page team did awesome! They took FIRST PLACE!!! We are so happy for all the Sports Page guys and are so proud of them all… WAY TO GO SPORTS PAGE TEAM!!! Chad of course is kind of bummed that darts are over, but he is hoping to maybe get into some other spring/summer activities so we will see. You can see the picture below for the individual awards that each team member recieved, but if you want to look at the BIG TROPHY, then you have to go and check it out at Sports Page on south 12th.

Delainey had her first sleep over birthday party this weekend. She has spent the night at my aunt’s house in the past, but never at a friend’s (although it was actually my cousin’s daughter’s birthday party). She had a really good time, but she was certainly tired today when she came home.
We had cake tonight for my mom’s birthday… man she is getting old … well not really, but with THIS birthday out of the way, I can start making plans for the ‘big one’ next year…trust me… I may not be talented in many things, but I can certainly throw a damn good party!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM…We love you!
And last but not least, it is also my spring break from college…. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I am looking forward to the small break, although honestly I will be just as busy as normal…just missing one small item.

Potty training is still going AWESOME! Avery even woke up from bed last night (9+ hours) dry… I told her she has to wake up dry for a whole week before she can wear panties to bed, so we shall see. We also even ventured out with panties on and I am proud to say that we came home dry GOOD JOB GIRLS!!! We are so proud of you!!!

Brody is walking more and more. He is even able to stop walking, crouch down pick up a toy and then stand back up and go back to walking...well as long as his "shelbs' (that is the ONLY name he can say) leaves him alone long enough... He can say other words, but it is just too cute to see the two of them (Brody and Shelby) playing together... they really are buds...

Here's to an awesome week for everyone!!!

What a day...
This evening as I was leaving to go to my PC meeting for Delainey's school, I noticed Chad outside by his truck looking rather unhappy... when I came out side I was informed (not so pleasently) that someone had hit Chad's truck....and continued driving.
Not only is Chad's truck now missing the driver's side mirror, but it got pushed a bit as well... there doesn't seem to be any body damange aside from the mirror, but Chad is almost certain there are going to be some 'drive' problems. Since it was dark he didn't want to take to much time to inspect the damage to the drivability, but he is pretty certain... Nice huh??
On a happier note, today was my first day of my holiday weightloss challange. I didn't weigh myself because I want to stay on "Wednesdays" as the group suggests, but I did really well with my eating today and I totally vamped up my water intake.... next step actually MAKING it to the Y... Here's hoping right...
