Fine For Valentine's FINAL WEIGH IN

Well... umm yea. Apparently I am RIGHT BACK where I started at with my weight, but that is ok. Every step has been a learning experience... so here's what I've learned about myself in this challange.

  • I am in fact an emotional eater
  • when I pay attention to eating I do actually lose weight
  • i can lose weight IF I try
  • I have to WANT to lose weight

As many of you know, I have been going through a lot this past month and instead of those new challenges that have been placed in front of me being a motivator, I have used them as an excuse...well no more!

So here is to the NEW challenge that the Shrinking Jeans crew is going to come up with and know that I will be motivated to continue this time...

Congratualtions to all my sisters (and brothers) who did this challange and WAY TO GO TO YOU ALL who has success...ESPECIALLY my good friend Kate who more than achieved her goal but surpassed it! I am so proud of you Kate!!!

Looking back over my personal blog (which is private) I realized that I have GAINED over 20lbs (23.9 to be exact) since roughly this time last year. I mean come the frick on... all my friends are losing weight, you'd think that would be an inspiration...but no it seems that I am having even more self-distructive behavior... BUT in the same sense, how can I teach my children to be happy with who you are when I am not even happy with what/who I am... thought for the week I guess, but hopefully I will be able to get my fat ass off the couch and onto a healthier me...

Fine For Valentine's Week 5

This week I am DOWN 4 lbs, so I can't really complain. I have the same goals in place for this coming week as I did last week, especially the join WW one since I didn't actually make it to sign up for it...whoops!

  • Drink at least 84 ozs of water each day

  • SIGN UP FOR WEIGHT WATCHERS FOR REAL THIS TIME

  • Stay within my point range and also journal all my food

  • exercise at least 3 times at home using videos, dvds etc

  • Make it to the Y at least Once...

I also am proud to say that I am not the proud owner of a Wii Fit. Wow..seeing yourself of TV fat isn't any fun.... But here goes! Oh and I think that the step thing is EVIL... I can't do it for the life of me... LOL

Lookin Fine For Valentines- Week 4

I really think that women who are of child baring age, who are also trying to lose weight should be given a 'bye' week each month.... Don't you?

I am sure from that statement you guys can tell how my weekly weigh in went today... But honestly, I shouldn't be to upset at it was only 2 pounds and I know that by this time next week without me doing a darn thing it will be gone....but it is still sad, especially since now I have to remove the my badge of weightloss from my side bar :(

That being said, I have a renewed sense of self and will be kicking it hardcore this week. Here are my goal:

  • Drink at least 84 ozs of water each day
  • Actually sign up for Weight Watchers
  • Stay with in my points for WW and journal ALL FOOD
  • exercise 3 days at home using videos, dvds etc
  • make it to the gym twice

So there are my goals for this week! Wish me luck my friends!

Fine for Valentine's Day Week 3

Total Bummer for me this week. I gained two pounds. I can't really be too upset with myself for several reasons:

1)I had WAY to much fun at my uncle's 50th birthday party this weekend.

2) I didn't meet ANY of my fitness goals--- not at home or at the gym and

3)water didn't exist in my world the past week at all.

I will be setting the goal to get back on track with my eating and water drinking and also get my fitness back on track, but I can pretty much tell you that I am going to have a rough weekend because this week is my cousin's wedding... I can do it... plus I have to fit into this super cute dress that I bought in order to read at her wedding.

Good luck to all my sisters in this journey...there is no such thing as failure because EVERYTHING is a learning experience.... just remember to take the information with you...
