So here is my list of things that I can't wait for Tricia to experience as a mom!
- getting all dressed and ready to go for a very important thing only to get there and find that you have snot on the shoulder of your shirt from Gwyneth's good by hug.
- the first time Gwyneth throws up (and I mean like 'real' vomit) and you look around to see who is going to clean this up and it is then that you realize that it is you who has to do so :)
- Those wonderful open mouth kisses of your babe
- hearing "I love you mommy'....from your lil girl
- those precious hugs that only a child can give a mommy that makes your day suddenly seem so much better
- cuddling her whenever you want...skin to skin...
- being up during the night with a sick child, who just wants their mommy.
- Fixing that first boo boo... it is sad, but mom's get all the credit because of a band-aid :) Don't forget to 'kiss it' better :)
Oh, and I couldn't forget one for Nate... when his daughter has that first 'real' date and he has to pretend that he likes the kid... because... remember.. if you 'show' you don't like them it makes the boy oh so much more fun :)
There is so much more that I know I could go on for hours, but please know Tricia that you are going to experience these all very soon...You and your daughter are fighters and miracles that we are all blessed to 'know' you all :)
