January Update

Well we survived the birthday season and holidays with only a few scrapes and bruises. Once again the children got way to many gifts and our house was (still is) quite the mess from all the disorganization and clutter.

We are currently researching more information and such to see if we can help Shelby a bit more with her sensory and social issues. Kindergarten has been a blessing and a curse all rolled into one. I want to celebrate the fact that Shelby is doing AMAZING in school this year... we have only had one day in which she called to go home 'sick' when she wasn't really sick. THIS IS HUGE!!!! Behaviors at home have been something completely different... the kid concentrates so much at school to keep it together that once she gets home it's all over.  So here's hoping we can help her learn to help herself.

Delainey is doing really well and is working really hard to enter the 'blue' group at school which is the independent study group in her 2nd grade class. She is doing well and we are really proud of her.

Avery is doing really well with the adjustment to kindergarten. The days get a bit long and she whines abit, but really kindergarten is hard work :)

Brody is enjoying his first year of preschool. He is in a class with all 5 year olds so its been interesting (the school got his birthday wrong and didn't realize it till the year started and we decided to just let him stay put rather than moving him....he doesn't do change well. He is definitely "ALL BOY" if you get my drift... ugh!!!

I am back at school for the semester and will be having my wisdom teeth removed on Feb 9th. Not really looking forward to that, but it is what it is.

Chad is Chad and has started yet another bike project. He is projected to be able to sell it for quite the profit... if he sells it that is lol
