MAKES YOU THINK DOESN'T IT!!!

What a week this has been... seriously... I most certainly did not have a rough week, nor am I dreading the current week because my schedule is completely insane. NOT ME... I am ALWAYS a mess of nerves and anxiety COMPLETELY level headed when faced with the week I currently have.

Last Thursday I most certain DID NOT take a final that I was in now way shape or form to take...pretty certain I will be seeing that professor again in the fall...

I most certainly did NOT let Brody cry in his crib just so I could take a shower on Wednesday because he sneezed and well.. yea it was GROSS... I also most certainly DID NOT clean myself up before I cleaned him.... SUPER MOM ROCKN' this house...

And the last "not me" actually belongs to my husband:
He MOST CERTAINLY DID NOT... tell his mother yesterday (ON MOTHER'S DAY) that he didn't get me something...not even a car because "She isn't my mom"... and because he certainly DID NOT say that... it certain was NOT true that he really really didn't get me ANYTHING!!!

Happy Mother's Day to me... FROM ME!

Thank you to my children….

It was my babies that made me a mom! It is because of these precious miracles that I have the one ‘name’ that I wanted so fiercely growing up. All I ever wanted to be was a mom…. I know that today (Mother’s Day) is supposed to be about celebrating mothers…but today… I celebrated my children.

There are so many days that I look out at the world and see all the yuck and nasty…but then I look at those two sets of precious blue eyes, one pair of purplely hazel and that one pair of chocolate brown eyes and I see things differently… I see the world through their eyes. I see the amazement of being 5, 3, 3, and 17 months… the WONDER that is there…

So today on the day that I ‘should’ be celebrating myself… I am celebrating them BECAUSE I AM THEIR MOM!!! And I am so very blessed to be that if nothing more… I will ALWAYS be my precious babies’ mom…ALL OF THEM!!!

Look at these beautiful flowers!!!! Aren't they beautiful? Wouldn't you have LOVED to have recieved these flowers from your husband/children??? YAH.... ME TOO!!!

Yet another Mother's Day that is no different than any other day....EXCEPT that I was not only doing my normal Sunday cleaning... I was also cooking dinner for my grandparents, aunt, cousin, mother and my own family... and when he was asked why.... "You aren't MY mom".... At least HIS mom got a phone call....
